The Business Development section in region North Europe (MN) is responsible for profiling, marketing and customer management for the region. This includes acquiring new customers.We are also organizing and executing customer courses, seminars and various types of customer events. We maintain a broad network both externally and internally. We are dealing with all aspects within ship classification and statutory matters and work closely with our customers to understand their needs and find good solutions. We value customer service, competence development and teamwork.To ensure efficient sales process, coordination and support, we are in the need to increase our resources related to sales support. The Sales Support Assistant will work closely with the Sales Support Expert and the Key Account Managers (KAMs) in the region, both in supporting them in their daily tasks and ensuring that the sales process is executed in an efficient and consistent way.Main tasks:Coordinate local/regional internal and external events and meetings:Follow up on our regional event planEvent and meeting administrationMonitoring/administrative follow up of agreements and sales activities:Follow up and assist in production of agreements in cooperation with Key Account Managers (KAM)Monitoring and follow-up of opportunities with Bid ManagersMaintenance of customer data:Update Key customer lists and contact dataReview and update other key information in the production and CRM systemsAssist KAMs in monitoring changes regarding agreementsSupport in invoice handlingCommunication with internal and external stakeholdersSupport to Regional Manager and regional Management team:Assistance in preparing presentation materialSupport related to meetings, events and travel arrangementsSupport with SharePoint/MS Teams updateDistribution of informationWe offer time-limited contract for 1 year with possibility to extend it.Position Qualifications:Work independently and efficientlyManage a hectic working-environmentBe service minded and solution orientedProactive, analytical and structuredGood communication skills both in Norwegian and EnglishGood digital skillsUser experience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce), MS Teams and SharePoint design will be an advantageKnowledge about the maritime industry will be an advantage, but not required
