With over 50 years of domain expertise, we continue to innovate and reshape traditional approaches across the energy sector with our technologies designed to improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and reduce energy consumption and waste.ARE YOU OUR NEW BID MANAGER (SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST)?We are now strengthening our sales team in Bid Management & Sales Operation department with a Bid Manager in the Energy Sector covering Offshore, FPSO, Offshore Wind, Offshore Electrification, and Subsea Electrification.As a Bid Manager, you will support customers to improve efficiency, save resources, and reduce emissions that give our work a powerful sense of purpose. This exciting and dynamic work environment fits a communicative person with a customer orientation, as well as a high level of personal responsibility.Your responsibilitiesPreparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Business Unit, and Sales organization directives.Be the single interface towards customers and ensure timely and proactive communication.Responsible for the bid during the whole sales phase, from lead until signing the contract.Set up and collaborate with ABB group functions, such as Legal, Finance, Taxes, and Insurance.Use experience and understanding to add to the Bid plans and decision-making as the tendering process evolves.Coordinate with the procurement team and maintain support from internal and third-party suppliers.Analyze project proposals and cost plans and prepare for risk review.Defines cost for the proposed solution and communicates to the Sales organization.Your backgroundMinimum 5 year’s experience in the energy industries.Experience in engineering and project execution is an advantage.Ability to work independently, but with a strong team-oriented attitude.Good communication skills.Preferably experience in solution sales or project management.Knowledge about market requirements and standards within the industry is positive.Experienced candidates will be considered even if their formal education is not according to the requirement above.More about usWorkplaceFornebu, Akershus County, NorwayBergen, Vestland County, NorwayStavanger, Rogaland County, NorwayStord, Vestland County, NorwayPlease apply latest by October 31st, 2023.If you wish, you can also be confidential in our initial conversations.We look forward to receiving your application (documents submitted in English are appreciated).
