We are now looking for a Technical Sales Expert to be part of our Exhaust Treatment, Technical Service team to aid in ensuring a strong lifecycle business with high customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be providing technical support to both internal and external customers and stakeholders throughout the product life cycle phase. As a Technical Sales Expert, you will be working in close cooperation with other departments within Exhaust Treatment. You will be reporting to the Manager for Technical Services, Exhaust Treatment. Due to this being a new position within Technical Service and LCS, you must be flexible and eager to embrace new challenges. When needed, you will assist your colleagues, holding the Technical Expert title. We are looking for a person for our office in Moss, Norway, but other locations will also be considered. We have a hybrid working solution with the possibility to work from home, up to two (2) days per week.   What are my key responsibilities?Technical Support to sales, primarily LCS sales, such as determining correct parts and/or solutions.Contribute to finalizing offers for our customers. Help define the work scope for service visits.Participate in customer and/or vendor meetings as Technical Sales Expert.On-time and high-quality service for our internal and external customers.Contribute to creating bulletins for the Exhaust Treatment systems.Training of internal and external stakeholders.A concrete example of a task would be to determine the required hardware and software changes when replacing obsolete parts of a system, and the most efficient way to have them implemented.  What will I need to do to be successful?Eager, curious, and driven.        Higher technical education (e.g. Bachelor's or Master's degree) in electrical, automation, marine, mechanical, or process engineering.Excellent interpersonal skills with a natural inclination for building and nurturing relationships, and good collaboration and teamwork skills. You enjoy engaging with others and are comfortable interacting with various stakeholders.Ability to work autonomously and think creatively for finding the best possible solutions.Fluent in written and spoken English.The ability and willingness to find solutions not predefined.Key account management experience and/or technical knowledge in the industry will be an advantage.  Why you and us? We at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership and taking responsibility for our work.
