For our costumer we are looking for a Mechanical Technician.Location: BergenStart: 16.10.2023Enddate: 15.10.2024Tasks: Inspection and quality control of incoming parts.Assembly of mechanical components in hence with procedures.Hydrostatic and Gas pressure testing of components.Communicate and document any deviation from expected test results in the Non Comformance system(NCR).Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Ensure that assembly are done according to procedure and required quality.Ensure that all work performed is according to procedure and that all deviation is noted and supervisor informed.Ensure that all point in a procedure is filled out accordingly.Apply to and follow the costumers HSE requirement.Mechanical technician to perform assembly of meters. Mainly fine mechanics on seal surfaces, seal rings and bolt torqueing.Competencies to be kept current:Competency certificate as an Industrial Assembler, Industrial Mechanic, Car Mechanic or equal.Preferably experience with subsea assembly and testing.Knowledge or certified in use of torque tools and flange assembly.Experienced with autoclave assembly.Experience with pressure testing, up to 30 000 PSI.Certified crane and forklift operator is preferred.Good computer skills.Languages: Must know english fluent, written and oral.Preferable with norwegian fluent, written and oral.Personal qualitiesAbility to work in teams and cooperate well with other members.Be accurate and have a high focus of quality of the work performed.Structured and have the ability to plan and report progress on ongoing workAbility to cooperate with different professions to be able to resolve issues that may occur.Apply to lean management in production line such as 5S, continuous improvement and maintenance.Contribute to a good working environment.Please upload diploma and transcripts with your application. Folk can offer:Good long-term opportunities with our clientsIndividual and adapted follow-up while on assignmentGood career development opportunities in an interesting and innovative sectorCompetitive terms and conditionsSocial events and pleasant tokens of appreciation throughout the yearWe see possibilities in your competence!In Folk, we work in accordance with our values: ethical, personal, enthusiastic and flexible.
