AutoStore is seeking a new Mechanical Product EngineerWe are now looking for a Mechanical Product Engineer to join the growing mechanical team. Our team is located in our HQ in Nedre Vats and in Lysaker, Oslo, and we are to further strengthen the team with creative problem solvers who has have in-depth knowledge of mechanical product design for serial production.You will join our Port & Picking team who are focusing on the development of new products. With us you will have the opportunity to work hands-on with innovative products, while developing yourself within a multidisciplinary department.We are Lean, Bold, and Transparent – Join our team of creative and innovative individuals as part of a collaborative team, who go above and beyond expectations. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Contribute to multi-disciplinary projects, with individual responsibility for the engineering and mechanical design.Mechanical Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, Service, and Mass production.3D CAD, 2D Documentation, Strength simulations/analysis, Tolerance analysis.Support process for product compliancy.Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for parts and components.Prepare basis for documentation and manuals.Build prototypes, planning function and lifetime tests.Contribute to support service and production requests. KEY QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor/master's degree in mechanical engineering, Product Design Engineering or equivalent.At least 3+ years of relevant experience in product development of small and medium-sized products within a multi-disciplinary environment.Strong competence and understanding within mechanical construction (small to medium machinery, moving parts etc.).Experience with 3D CAD tools like Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.Knowledge about creating 2D production drafts with relevant GD&T.Preferably hands-on experience with mechanical engineering and prototype development.Preferably experience in automation, logistics, and mass serial production.Preferably experience with DFMEA.English is the working language in AutoStore and good language skills in English, oral and written, is a prerequisite. PERSONAL QUALITIES:Responsible for own work and result.Team-oriented and with great interpersonal skills.Exact and has good problem-solving skills.Enjoys hands-on work.Takes initiative and is persevering.Creative and sees the overall picture. AUTOSTORE OFFERS:An environment for professional growth, honing your engineering skills in one of Norway’s leading R&D teams.A creative, safe, and solid workplace in a business experiencing tremendous growth - Norway's first unicorn company listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.A company culture where we recognize and applaud everyone's contributions in making decisions.We value flexibility and we offer a worldwide 60/40 remote working policy for all roles that can be performed remotely.Competitive compensation and benefits package including good pension and insurance scheme, parking spaces with charging stations, workout facilities, subsidized company cabin scheme, subsidized canteen, paid exercise time and paid voluntary time.  Show your interest in the position by registering your CV and writing an application by October 22nd.
