Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Product Owner who will be responsible for the IT solutions supporting analysis and management of data related to water, weather and climate. Water, weather, and climate is key and the foundation for all renewable energy production. Hence, the deliverables from this product team will be an important input to several of Statkraft’s core business processes.   The Product Owner Water, Weather and Climate will have responsibilities including, but not limited, to the following: Have the overall view and manage the totality of Statkraft’s water, weather and climate systems Drive continuous improvement of processes and tools in close collaboration with our analytical and operative units, internal IT and external vendors.  Build a long-term roadmap to support Statkraft’s strategic ambitions within energy management and water, weather and climate analysis Elicit, capture and analyze end-user business requirements Align and prioritize together with other product owners to ensure the optimal system landscape for Statkraft Energy Management Lead the product team that maintains and improves the products including external vendors Manage risks with technology and vendors Take part in relevant R&D projects QualificationsThis is a perfect role for a hydrologist, meteorologist or similar with experience in IT or an IT professional with experience in water, weather, climate or energy management.
