We strive for operational excellence fostering a culture based on competency, collaboration, and people development.We are now looking for a Senior Network Engineer to strengthen our team. You will work in a dynamic and self-driven environment, contributing to further development of our network services. The position will report to Manager Platform and Network – Infrastructure Operations.Your responsibilities will include:Operate, maintain, and develop enterprise-level network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and Azure network servicesPlan and execute network implementation and improvement projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operationsConfigure and optimize network equipment (Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet etc.) and network protocols, including TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and VLANsEnsure up-to-date and correct patch management and life-cycle management processes and execute on theseCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop security strategies and implement necessary measures to protect against threatsStay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to network engineeringQualificationsTo be successful in this role, we believe you have:Five or more years of experience related to network technologies as well as significant understanding of operating models and operational excellenceIn-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment from leading vendors, such as Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba and Microsoft AzureSolid understanding of network security principles and best practicesBachelor’s or master’s degree within relevant fields, or relevant work experienceIndustry certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirableGood knowledge with the ITIL frameworkThese skills and experience will also be beneficial in your role:Self-driven, motivated and adaptable individual to an organization that is under transformationExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesPassion for continuous learning and staying updated with Network trends and best practicesAdditional InformationWhat we offer:Unlimited learning opportunities at various levels of the organizationThe chance to grow your career alongside a truly global network of experts, leaders, specialists, and graduates from different countries and backgroundsThe opportunity to work somewhere with pride, and be able to honestly say “My work is contributing to saving the planet”A work culture that puts emphasis on the individual, offering flexible working solutions, and work-life balance principlesStatkraft offers competitive terms of employment and benefit schemes, and we’re a trusted employer that puts the safety of our people first.
