Power your progressWe at Norske Shell are providing the energy that Europe needs today, while working towards a net-zero emissions future where carbon capture and storage, offshore wind and hydrogen play key roles in the energy system.We are currently recruiting an entry-level Electrical Engineer to help us enable the business Value Streams to create value from opportunities, projects, and safe assets by providing the required electrical engineering for electro and flow assurance support to Natural Teams (Squads) within the Value Streams with the aim to ensure technical integrity, quality, and overall technical integration of the discipline.The Electrical Engineer reports to the Engineering Lead.Entry level 2024Application deadline: 31 October 2023Target Start Date: 1 August, 2024, but we can also accommodate candidates who can start as soon as 1 January, 2024All applicants will receive feedback within 15 December 2023Key Accountabilities During the first year, you will be on site and will be part of the Electrical Construction and Commissioning team at Nyhamna for the Ormen Lange Phase 3 project. After a successful start-up of the project, you will support the asset and work with project execution from the Stavanger officeYou will contribute to the electrical safety at the Nyhamna Ormen Lange Phase 3 scopeContribute to the delivery of the electrical engineering discipline activities as well as maintenance plans, ensuring that all deliverables meet minimum safety, technical and quality requirements and that risks are managed in a cost-effective way. This includes preparation of deviations to plans/standards/procedures to be signed off by relevant Shell Technical AuthoritiesDevelop and maintain effective working relationships within projects and operations leveraging the Shell global engineering support and discipline network to secure and share technical supportEmbrace, adapt, and actively contribute to implement the agile, digital and multiskilling transformation of Norske Shell Key DimensionsThe Electrical Engineer will be part of the Technical Directorate which provides a broad compliment of engineering, subsurface and integrator disciplines that are to be deployed flexibly across the business Value Streams to work on the priority work packages agreed by the Norway Leadership Team on a quarterly basis. The Technical Directorate staff will work in multiskilled teams and collaborate along discipline lines to ensure that capable staff working in agile teams can deliver the quality of product required by the business Value Streams. What we need from youCuriosity, adaptability, resilience, ownership, collaboration skills and drive for continuous learning and improvement (learner mindset)Relevant master’s degree, preferably in Electrical EngineeringRelevant work experience may be consideredCompEx certified or equivalent.
