The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.Aker Solutions is seeking a Commissioning Engineer – Electrical with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Verdal and will be led from there.This is 14/21 day rotation.Position Responsibilities:Develop comprehensive commissioning test procedures for own systems, outlining detailed step-by-step processes.Provide discipline-specific input for commissioning test procedures related to other systems within the project.Actively participate in the development of multi-discipline plant start-up and performance test procedures.Contribute to the creation of governing documents and work instructions for the execution phase, ensuring clarity and precision in the instructions provided.Define temporary systems, test equipment, special tools, consumables, and first fills required for the commissioning process.Evaluate commissioning and operational spare parts to ensure they meet the necessary requirements and standards.Skills and Levels Description:Demonstrated knowledge of work processes within the relevant discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in EPC processes within New Build/Renewables Segments.Proficiency in MIPS, MS Office 365, PCS, and ProArc.Technical/Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field; relevant work experience can compensate for lack of formal education.Fluent in both Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.Efficient and highly productive work ethic.Proactive in taking initiative and adept at addressing tasks.Strong team player with exceptional collaboration abilities.Ability to work on a 14/21 day rotation schedule.More reasons to work with us:Opportunity to grow your network and develop professionally by integrating yourself into highly competent teams within world-renowned organizations in the energy sector.Competitive compensation packages and benefits that include pension schemes and insurance.On-going support from our experienced recruitment and back-office support professionals.Exclusive access to all Aker Solutions’ project positions in Norway, with access to permanent positions when these are offered.
