The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.Aker Solutions is seeking a Commissioning Engineer – Process with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Verdal and will be led from there.This is 14/21 day rotation.Position Responsibilities:Develop comprehensive test procedures for in-house systems, detailing step-by-step processes.Contribute to the development of multi-disciplinary Plant Start-up and Performance test procedures.Assist in creating governing documents and work instructions for execution phase.Define temporary systems, test equipment, special tools, consumables, and initial supplies.Evaluate commissioning and operational spare parts.Provide input on plan and budget for commissioning activities.Participate in engineering design reviews, Vendor FATs, and final inspections.Prepare commissioning scope and work packages in the Plant Control System (PCS).Perform system punch-out and MC handover activities.Execute commissioning activities as per plans and procedures.Update PCS to track activity status.Provide progress reports for activities.Manage Change Control (SWCR, Query, Documents).Carry out system take-over activities.Execute Start-up and Performance Test activities following procedures.Administer and supervise commissioning assistance and vendor personnel within the group.Skills and Levels Description:In-depth understanding of Commissioning and Process work processes.Minimum of 5 years of experience in EPC processes within New Build/Renewables Segments.Proficient in MIPS, Microsoft Office 365, Pims, ProCoSys, and Autodesk Simulate.Higher vocational school, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in energy or renewables.
