The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.Aker Solutions is seeking an Engineer - QS - EIT/SAS with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Verdal and will be led from there.This is 14/21 day rotation.Position Responsibilities:Review and assess supplier documents and progress.Participate in vendor tests and related activities.Utilize ProArc and MIPS for document management.Develop project plans based on supplier guidelines.Ensure quality through equipment inspections.Attend designated witness/hold points.Conduct follow-up inspections, tests, and documentation for project monitoring.Skills and Levels Description:Proficient in relevant work processes.Minimum 2 years of EPC experience in Topside and facilities/Renewables.Skilled in MIPS, MS Office 365, PCS, Pims, ProCoSys, and Autodesk Simulate.Higher vocational school, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in energy or renewables, or relevant experience.Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written Norwegian and English.Demonstrated efficient work ethic, proactive, and task-oriented.Strong team player with effective collaboration skills.Available for a 14/21 day rotation schedule.More reasons to work with us:Opportunity to grow your network and develop professionally by integrating yourself into highly competent teams within world-renowned organizations in the energy sector.Competitive compensation packages and benefits that include pension schemes and insurance.On-going support from our experienced recruitment and back-office support professionals.Exclusive access to all Aker Solutions’ project positions in Norway, with access to permanent positions when these are offered.
