The three companies will bring invaluable technical competence, geographical presence, robust portfolio and backlog projects, and skilled personnel with segment expertise to this agreement. This subsea integrated services venture will position itself to be a tier 1 company in the industry. The joint venture to come into effect in the second half of 2023 is subject to approval by the respective authorities of the concerned countries.We are now looking for a Specialist System Engineer who wants to strengthen our team. We are a diverse, friendly, and proactive team with the responsibility of executing integrated System solutions in accordance with Aker Solutions Subsea Project Execution Model. We are a global team of system engineers across several regions / countries. What will you be doing?As a Specialist System Engineer, you will lead the integrated system engineering team, and perform system engineering tasks within unique subsea projectsResponsible for defining system architecture and the system design basis, test philosophies and outline test programReview and Approve system schematics and P&IDs and test proceduresCheck and approve project design philosophies and system analysesOversee project scope management systemProvide clear design directions and instructions to application, product and life-of-field engineersDrive technical solutions to project management and other more senior stakeholdersGuide, supervise and train less experienced system engineersInteract directly with client’s technical representatives related to deliveriesDeliveries have defined deadlines so own, and others’, workload should be managed to meet thoseRole is multi-discipline, covering a wide range of technical areasDrive technical process and efficient way of workingWe think you should have:BSc or MSc in an engineering discipline12+ years engineering experience in a subsea environmentINCOSE certification for System Engineering beneficial or relevant system engineering experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office applications is mandatoryPersonal attributes:Demonstrate a proactive and innovative attitude with structured and solution-oriented mindset and excellent communication skillsHigh interest in expanding own knowledge building internal network and understanding AKSO’s engineering processesDemonstrate ability to work in global teams and have an international mentalityMore reasons to work with us:Professional development and excellent career opportunities with the chance to work on a wide variety of projects ranging from oil and gas, renewables (carbon capture, hydrogen, and offshore wind) to aqua cultureA healthy work-life balance with flexible working conditions throughout the different phases of your life journeyCompetitive pay and benefits with excellent pension and insurance schemes as well as private health services provided by Aker CareAccess to welfare club with free gym facilities, sports equipment hire and cabins for rent in the mountains and by the seaWe have offices in Tranby and Fornebu, and offer hybrid work solutions including the possibility to work from home Interested?
