Aker Solutions employs approximately 15,000 people in more than 20 countries.Aker Solutions is looking for a Senior Instrument Engineer with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Trondheim and will be led from there.Position Responsibilities:Acquire in-depth knowledge of the assigned scope within your discipline.Prepare discipline-specific input to complete the design basis during the startup phase of the assigned scope.Manage and coordinate the work performed by additional team members within your discipline, ensuring clarity and understanding of the scope.Maintain clear interfaces with suppliers and subcontractors regarding discipline-specific scope of work.Develop and maintain the activity schedule for your discipline's tasks.Perform estimation work and finalize plan activities.Ensure effective communication and follow-up with other engineering disciplines for clarifications.Establish and manage the material budget (MTO) for your discipline, when applicable.Develop and maintain the document development schedule for your discipline.Implement approved changes into the discipline's schedule.Skills and Levels Description:Proficient in relevant design rules, regulations, and standards.Familiarity with NORSOK and pertinent standards/regulations for the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).Experience in Instrument Engineering and as a Package Responsible Engineer.Holds a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an Associate Degree from a Vocational school.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project-specific software/tools.Fluent in both written and spoken English.Demonstrates leadership qualities.Exhibits the ability to execute, take responsibility, and make decisions.Effective communication and proactive approach.Mentoring capabilities for younger engineers.More reasons to work with us:Opportunity to grow your network and develop professionally by integrating yourself into highly competent teams within world-renowned organizations in the energy sector.Competitive compensation packages and benefits that include pension schemes and insurance.On-going support from our experienced recruitment and back-office support professionals.Exclusive access to all Aker Solutions’ project positions in Norway, with access to permanent positions when these are offered.
