Main responsibilities The responsibility includes multi dicipline equipment and system development and upgrades, and reliability monotring.The system engineer will give assistance in operation support, system testing, maintenance, procurement, and trainingOther responsibilities: Follow engineering standards and processes Act as primary technical interface with clients, as requiredContribute in engineering meetings and multidiscipline reviews Make necessary engineering calculations to support product selection/recommendation.Develop technical documentation, e.g. specifications, procedures, schematics, diagrams, drawings, etc. Lead 3rd party outsourced work and follow up on production and documentation. Provide engineering support during fabrication, assembly and testing, either at 3rd party or EDR Perform documentation review and approvalAssist in training personnel for Enhanced Drilling technologies Incremental development of the asset fleetQualifications & ExperienceBachelor of Science within mechanical engineering, mechatronics, subsea technology or other relevant educationMinimum 2 years of relevant work experienceExperience within hydraulic components and hydraulic control systemsUnderstanding of drilling process and subsea equipmentKnowledge of relevant offshore and subsea regulations and standardsPreferred overall multi discipline competence within electro, control system and instumentationPreferred experience within fluid dynamicsPreferred experience within 3-D modelling an 2-D drawingPreferred well control understandingWorkplace at Straume (outside Bergen), Norway.For further information about the position please contact:Kari-Lill Kvalheim at Jobzone, email: kari-lill@jobzone.no, phone: +47 48073832Use link in ad to register your application!We look forward to hear from you!
