Our products are well-known for innovation and quality. We are seeking a highly qualified Maintenance Manager to join our team.The role as Maintenance Manager in Abbott will lead the management of the maintenance department and ensure the production equipment, always maintains agreed quality and availability.The production at the Oslo Site runs 24/7. The maintenance team have both shift technicians working on a 5 shift pattern together with daytime technicians and support staff.You will play an essential role in ensuring the efficient operation of our maintenance and engineering functions in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of quality and productivity in our operations.Personal Characteristics and QualificationsWe seek a candidate with a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. However, formal education can be compensated with extensive experience in Maintenance/Engineering. Knowledge of or experience with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is crucial, and deep expertise in the relevant subject matter is essential. You must exhibit robust management skills, crucial for directing maintenance and engineering operations.For the position, practical experience in the field is require, and knowledge of the operation of production equipment is expected. The right candidate should have electrical and/or mechanical skills. A solid understanding of financial matters is important, as well as adeptness in utilizing IT tools.The position requires good communication capabilities in both English and a Scandinavian language, encompassing both written and verbal mediums.We value proactive individuals who can spot opportunities and readily take on new challenges. A methodical approach, coupled with an ability to manage intricate details, is vital. Your solution-driven mindset will be instrumental in addressing engineering and maintenance hurdles.
