The Subsea Pipeline & Spool Design Engineer’s primary function will be the day-to-day provision of subsea pipeline & spool design support to Subsea7 projects. The tasks you will solve:Provide pipeline technology input to Conceptual and Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) studiesPerform pipeline & spool design & analysis activities in all phases of our developments ranging from tender level engineering to detailed design including, but not limited to:- Pipeline Routing and Field Layout- Pipeline Mechanical Design- Pipeline On-Bottom Roughness and Free Span Analysis- In-place Design of Rigid and Flexible Flowlines- In-place Design of Pipe-in-Pipe and Bundle Solutions- Trawling Impact and Pull-Over Analysis- Pipeline Pull-in Analysis- Spool Design for Tie-in and Expansion- Design and Analysis of Pipeline ComponentsParticipation in pipeline technology development projectsCoordination of multi-disciplinary tasks and projects e.g. welding, material, structural, hydrodynamic or geotechnical disciplinesFollow-up design and analysis scopes as mentioned above for internal project teams, subcontractors and fabricators What you get from us:A very good working environment and collaboration cultureChallenging and exciting workdaysPersonal development and career opportunitiesCompetitive terms including attractive insurance policies and pension schemesSports & Social clubs with social and recreational activities for both you and your familyWorkplace flexibility What we want from you:Bachelor or master’s degree in relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Marine, Offshore, Naval Architecture)Minimum 3 years relevant work experienceExperience from execution projects including engineering of subsea pipeline systemsGood general knowledge within structural and/or mechanical design & hydrodynamics.Knowledge and experience using any of the software Abaqus, Ansys, OrcaFlex, Matlab, Mathcad, is an advantageProgramming and scripting skills (Python) is an advantageOverview and understanding of applicable design codes, industry standards and legislative requirementsWell organized and highly developed systematic working methodsGood communication and networking skillsProactive and motivatedHigh integrityStrong analytical skillsUnderstanding of client’s needs and ability to suggest and apply “fit for purpose” solutions For queries regarding the position, please contact: Discipline Manager Adam Zborowski, e-mail adam.zborowski@subsea7.com - phone no. +47 51 72 61 64 We are Subsea7, a global leader in the delivery of offshore projects and services for the energy industry.
