We are looking for Senior Engineers to strengthen our Pipe Stress and Support department in Oslo. As a Senior Pipe Stress Analysis Engineer, you will have the opportunity to engage in exciting projects, learn from top engineers in the field, and foster both your career and knowledge to new heights.About the positionJoin our dynamic team where you'll lead and guide a team of stress engineers on exciting EPC projects. You'll coordinate across teams, work closely with designers, and ensure we meet high standards, deadlines, and quality – all in a collaborative and engaging environment.Responsibilities and tasks includePerform stress analyses of piping systems by use of Caesar II softwareEfficient coordination across multiple disciplines to ensure seamless task executionCollaborate effectively with piping layout and pipe support designers and provide guidance on pipe routing and support functionalityCoordinating with the on-site and yard teams to address inquiries and overcome challengesPerform analyses following the right standards and make sure to meet deadlines and quality standardsQualifications10 years experience from the oil and gas industry Bachelor's or master's degree Required good knowledge of standards like ANSI B31,3,Norsok, EquinorTR’s, various API and ASME standards, NEMA-SM23 (compressor piping)Personal qualitiesExcellent communication skillsYou show initiative and consistently align your actions with Aibel's core valuesYou work well with others and you are open to diverse and multicultural teamsBeing able to speak and write English fluently is essential for this jobBecome our colleagueAibel offers many career opportunities.
