Then we build it.We are looking for Senior Engineers who can strengthen our Automation department in Oslo. You will contribute to Aibel’s exciting journey in the ongoing energy transition. Our portfolio covers manned and unmanned operated Oil and Gas topsides, High Voltage substations (HVAC or HVDC), Electrification projects and hydrogen facilities.About the positionAibel's Automation Engineers design and specify automation systems solutions and strategies for engineering projects in concept, study and detail phases.Responsibilities and tasks includeAutomation design for Study, FEED or EPC projectsDefine, specify and design automation and SAS systems Development of automation philosophies & solutions to the required levelDevelopment of automation SAS programming basis to the required level Development of topologies, I/O budget and systems descriptions Participate and arrange meetings, workshops and reviews for automation discipline Participate in improving working methods through digital toolsInterface to other disciplines, contractors and clientQualificationsBachelor's degree or master's degreeMinimum 5 years of experience with industrial automation control system design within O&G projects on the Norwegian continental shelf or the OW sectorExperience and thorough knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNVGL and IECExperience with use of SCDs for documenting logicPersonal qualitiesEfficient communicator, who communicates well in English Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environmentA natural team player, but possess the ability to work independentlySystematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirementsProactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with othersInnovative approach, eager to improve methodology and solutions through digital toolsAbility to understand and implement requirements stated in new standards.Become our colleagueAibel offers many career opportunities.
