A project engineer willtypically work in teams or individually to solve technical issues in projects, and to ensure a satisfyingexecution of the projects. As a project engineer in ABB you must have good knowledge aboutsoftware and hardware delivered by ABB and be able to clarify technical matters with customerand/or contractors.Tasks:Design and modifications of control systemsController programming & HMI designEngineering of automation solutions for the energy industry (onshore and offshore)Planning and execution of engineering activitiesProvide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activitiesThe position involves assignments together with Norwegian and international customers and vendors.Travelling on site and offshore must be expected.Requirements:Relevant education, e.g. bachelor or master’s degree or technical college with certificate of apprenticeship in automation or other relevant disciplineminimum 5 years of relevant experienceInterested to learn about automation and programmingExperience with ABB Control systems: 800xA, AC800 etc. is preferredExperience from Norwegian energy industryWe can offer:Excellent possibilities to learn and developGreat colleagues and a good work environmentChallenging and varied tasksFlexible working conditionsPossibilities for offshore rotations and international assignmentsAt ABB, we have the clear goal of driving diversity and inclusion across all dimensions: gender, LGBTQ+, abilities, ethnicity and generations.
