We offer a variety of different interior solutions and strive to provide an attractive working- and living environment on board for our customers.As a Senior Purchaser for Subcontracting you will work alongside motivated and dynamic teammates, having the opportunity to contribute keeping Vard Interiors competitive on the market and assuring the right quality of the products. In this position you will be coordinating procurement activities related to subcontractors (workforce) for installation onboard the vessels.Join us as our new Senior Purchaser - Subcontracting!

Duties and responsibilities Coordinate procurement activities related to scope of work assigned to subcontractors for installationResponsible for procurement in the subcontracting categories according to budget and project scheduleNegotiate and manage the existing frame agreements with subcontractorsBuild market knowledge, keep monitoring the availability of resourcesSource, evaluate and qualify new subcontractorsContribute to developing and implementing a global sourcing strategyStrengthen the global network and work closely with internal stakeholders to plan for the upcoming demands

Qualifications Relevant higher education in Supply Chain management/ Procurement, or other relevant experienceRomanian and/or Italian languageContract and negotiation expertiseGood cultural understanding and used to working with international subcontractors/suppliersPassionate about driving changeGood knowledge of English, verbal and written
