Vard Accommodation AS is searching for an Expediter eager to work with exciting challenges and opportunities in an international environment. The Expediter is employed in the Procurement Department and reports to Procurement Manager.
Duties and responsibilities Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processesMonitor and maintain project and delivery scheduleTrack orders from placement to deliveryConfirm shipping dates with vendorMonitor shipping notices to avoid potential problems or delays with deliveriesPrepare progress reportsMonitor goods receipt from ERP systemContact vendors, manage supply requisition and keep Project team updated on potential delays
Qualifications Education within logistics/procurement is a plusPreferably experience with managing suppliersUnderstanding of procurement functions and processes Excellent written and oral communicationWe encourage newly graduated students to apply
