Wellbeing, communication, and hard work is important to us, and we work together as a team to deliver to our customers.    To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions is looking for a Buyer who can help us succeed.    What will you be doing?     You will be working as a Buyer – Bulk equipment together with other colleagues for the Hugin A project, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following: Package Responsible Buyer for bulk packagesPrepare and develop procurement strategiesSourcing and pre-qualification of potential suppliersPrepare and issue enquiries and perform bid evaluationsNegotiate contracts and purchase ordersEnsure timely deliveries in accordance with budget and scheduleEnsure that all activities are performed according to proceduresFollow-up, control and report progress on contractsReport and manage risksDevelop and maintain supplier relations We think you should have some of the following: At least two years of experience with project procurementExperienced with procurement/sales of bulk materialsGood technical understanding and commercial skillsBasic understanding of customer needsSolid communication skills in English (written and spoken)Able to work independently on less complex tasksProactive and flexible, with a team-player attitudeFlexible and solution-oriented mindsetHigher education within business and/or engineeringSoftware skills: MIPS, MicrosoftEnglish language oral and written Work location:                Fornebu, NorwayStart:                             01.01.2024Duration:                        01.10.2025 Please apply online to be considered for this position.
