Our current core markets are Norway, Germany and Sweden.If you have a proven track record as a skilled project manager or expert in the energy or industrial sectors, and are proficient in both English and German, we are looking for you to join our team to successfully develop and execute our projects!We offerAn opportunity to expand your expertise beyond your core competencies into more discipline areas or project phases.An international and dynamic work environment in an ambitious "start-up" setting, with the necessary support and financial back-up to succeed.Opportunity to shape the role and grow your career through professional and personal development.Be a part of a business for the future and join us on an exciting journey!On a project level, your main responsibilities include to: Manage the last stages of the development phase: optimize technical solutions, project design, coordinate technical and permitting aspects, work closely with financial and commercial teams to mature the business case and the commercial agreement, define project execution and procurement strategy.Run tender processes, coordinate stakeholders (e.g. technical, commercial, legal), review and negotiate key contracts and agreements for equipment supply (e.g. energy storage systems, PV modules) and services (e.g. EPC, Operation & Maintenance).Review business case input and support investment decisions.Coordinate and supervise construction activities and be accountable for a safe and sustainable project delivery on time and on budget and manage risks.Quality assurance: ensure delivery meets technical requirements and prepare for commissioning and operations.Report on project progress to the management team and customers.Responsibilities on a portfolio level: As an experienced project manager, construction manager or electrical systems expert, you will support the business owner in assessing technical feasibility of new leads, support and advise on project development and execution strategy, and generally contribute to the continuous learning and improvement of the project management governance and procedures.Who are you? You have strong technical and project management skills, enjoy interdisciplinary work and are proactive in finding innovative solutions.You have strong communication skills, you successfully build relationships with stakeholders, and you have a track record of delivering renewable projects.You are triggered by delivering results and meeting customer expectations, setting high standards while achieving set goals.As we are a growing company in a developing industry, we also think that you adapt and respond well to change, being open to new ideas and showing sensitivity to different cultures.QualificationsBecause of the amount of projects in Germany, fluency in written and spoken German and English is a requirement. Additional skills in Norwegian is an advantage.Minimum 7 years' experience in relevant project positions, e.g. technical project manager, engineering manager, project coordinator/manager, construction manager, development manager.Minimum 5 years' experience with renewable energies (solar, wind or batteries) or electrical systems.Master's degree in Engineering (electrical is an advantage).Experience with construction management within power plants and/or industrial sites.Mobility for regular business travels.Additional information You will report to Head of Project Management, Energy Solutions. The position may be based either in one of Hydro Rein's in Oslo/Norway or The Hague/Netherlands. Alternatively you can be based in a home-office in Germany.Do you not meet every single requirement?
