From technology development to project execution and completion, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future within the materials discipline while ensuring safety and delivering exceptional results.Working in Material Technology, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and performance of materials used in critical projects, from exploration to production and across oil and gas, renewables and low carbon.Your work will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, conducting research and development, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of assets.Tasks in Material Technology may include: Ensuring material integrity in projects by providing input to technical requirements and overseeing materials engineering and construction. Gaining valuable design and operation experience from similar projects and installations, identifying risks to ensure technical integrity and operational safety. Pushing and challenging contractors to meet schedule, delivery, documentation, and cost requirements. Collaborating closely with the discipline network, leading advisors, and chief engineers to exchange knowledge and expertise. We're looking for graduates who are analytical, innovative, and collaborative. For this position, we are also looking for:Master’s degree or PhD with good academic record within Material Technology or related disciplines.Completed degree by the year of starting (2024).Fluent in English.No more than two years of relevant fulltime work experience.Formal experience is not a requirement.Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage.Your personal qualities: Ability to live by our safety and security expectations.
