About the role: As the Head of Asset Management at Recharge, you will embark on an exciting journey to build and lead a team of experts who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our electric vehicle charging infrastructure. You will have the unique opportunity to handpick and assemble a team of dedicated professionals who will collectively drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our assets. This is a critical function, closely tied to optimizing customer value and business performance, where your leadership will shape the very core of Recharge's operations. Main responsibilities are: Lead the development and implementation of asset management strategies, encompassing periodic verification, annual service, and preventive/predictive maintenance to ensure the highest level of operational reliability.Investigate and manage 2nd line escalations, conducting root cause analysis to resolve complex technical issues and improve customer experience.Oversee warranty handling and insurance matters, collaborating with suppliers and insurers to safeguard our assets and minimize operational disruptions.Drive life-cycle and trend analytics, leveraging data insights to continuously optimize asset performance, minimize downtime, and enhance customer satisfaction.Take ownership of the asset register and associated IT systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records while also being responsible for regulatory inspections and service campaigns.Monitor and govern hardware supplier performance, holding suppliers to high standards and ensuring the quality and reliability of our assets.Lead discipline development within the team, maintaining top-tier standards and fostering continuous improvement across all aspects of the department's responsibilities. Qualifications: Master's degree in an engineering or relevant technical field, with a solid understanding of electrical systems, infrastructure management and operational efficiency.Extensive experience in asset management or a related field, including hands-on experience with advanced maintenance, life-cycle analysis, and regulatory compliance.Proven leadership skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams of experts.Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, necessary for interacting with suppliers, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.Strategic thinking and adaptability to operate both at a strategic and operational level.
