As a member of the Depositary Services Global team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues in the Nordics in serving Depositary Service clients. The local team’s role is to facilitate customer engagement and discussions while applying global controls and monitoring procedures. We are looking for a team member to strengthen the Norwegian office in order to meet the demands of our customers and the future growth in the business. It would be beneficial if you already have an understanding of the business and the legal side of it, especially concerning alternative investments. Your main responsibilities would cover at least the following:Perform periodic controls in order to ensure that the clients are compliant with regulatory requirements Perform ownership verification and asset registration on alternative investmentsCustomer communication around all Depositary issuesIn order to succeed in this position you preferably have:Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Law or another related fieldRelevant experience from banking or working with investment funds is a benefit but not necessaryBasic knowledge of financial instruments Who are you?The right candidate for this position has an analytical mind-set, which enables you to grasp and understand complex structures with ease. It is of great benefit to have the ability to read and understand legal documentation. The person we are looking for is organised, has an eye for detail and a systematic approach that enables you to rapidly acquire in-depth knowledge. You are proactive, flexible and thrive with deadlines. You are also driven by a positive mind-set and a “can do”-attitude to achieve the best feasible result in a busy and fast-changing environment.
