Do you want to work in a progressive tax team and be a part of our Group Tax organization? Group Tax are looking for an enthusiastic person for the new position as Tax Director in Norway! Group Tax is responsible for Danske Banks global tax affairs with employees in several countries.  To meet the increasing local and international demands for prudent and compliant tax management within the financial sector we have established a new position as Tax Director in Norway. The new position gives a great opportunity to be part of an innovative and international tax environment across all business lines with good opportunities to develop in the position. As part of Group Tax in Danske Bank’s Group Finance organization you will be operating in an international environment working together with the wider group with cross border tasks in collaboration with colleagues in different countries. As Tax Director, you will oversee local tax in Norway and work with tax compliance on corporate tax, and transfer pricing as well specific tax issues relating to the financial services. The role involves a broad variation of tasks, except VAT. Your workplace will be at Danske Bank in Oslo. Flexibility to travel abroad if needed is required. The role will report to the Head of Tax Nordic and work in close cooperation with Finance department. Your work day will include: As Tax Director you will coordinate tax affairs that involve domestic taxation as well as international matters. You will be responsible for tax compliance related to local corporate tax and transfer pricing filing for the branch and subsidiaries in Norway, as well as relevant policies, instructions and guidelines. You will be a part of exciting and comprehensive day-to-day activities, for example: Supporting Group Accounting on tax in financial statements Tax relating to product, services, investments and vehicles Involvement in WHT issues, HR tax matters and tax risk management Contact point towards local tax authorities and relevant external organizations Who are you? Our new Tax Director Norway has a comprehensive over-all knowledge on tax law including local and international trends and best practices. It is an advantage if you have experience in taxation related to investment structures, financial services & products and banking activity, preferably from a similar position in e.g., industry, audit firm, law firm or tax administration. Being a part of an agile and collaborative environment, the position requires ability to learn and understand complex structures and ability to swift and clear communication at meetings and in writing. The right candidate holds a higher relevant university degree (for example law, MSc. or BSc. / BBA).  It is easier to succeed in the position if you are: A strong team player but at the same time creative and able to work independently Structured, analytic and performance orientated Pro-active and efficient  Able to work informally with colleagues across the organization Fluent in the Norwegian and English language We offer: In Danske Bank, you can be truly yourself, develop your skills and work flexibly.
