An exciting opportunity has arisen as a Controller in Kongsberg Discovery, a leading developer and supplier of underwater acoustic sensors and smart robotics for marine, research, and naval applications.We are looking for an individual who is service-minded, flexible, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and possesses a strong drive for accomplishment. As a Controller, you will play an important role in the finance team. This position offers an opportunity for growth and development in the finance and operations domain.We are located in Horten and are in the process of moving into a new cutting-edge facility, poised to be a centre for advanced manufacturing in Norway.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and close projects in the ERP systemDevelop, modify, and close WBS (Work Breakdown Structures) in the ERP systemHandle customer invoicing and economic reportingSupport in preparation of monthly reportsCoordinate input to cash forecastingSupport the business in cost controlling and maintain rigorous cost control measuresAct as a point of contact in the controller groupQualities We Value and look for: Service-minded attitudeFlexibility to adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environmentCapacity to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong follow-through and achievement orientationAbility to work independently and take initiativeQualificationsBachelor's degree in finance or related fieldProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelFamiliarity with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an advantageExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishWe welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds, including recent graduates and individuals looking to transition into a controller role.
