Group Treasury is responsible for cash management, trade finance, group funding and foreign exchange risk management. As a Treasury Controller you will work closely with the other areas of expertise within the Group Treasury function, and will be able to both contribute, and learn and develop experience within these fields. The position reports to the Group VP Finance and Treasurer in Kongsberg Gruppen ASA. As a Treasury Controller your main responsibilities are to:Support in monitoring currency exposure and the execution of currency hedging in the FX market.Assist KONGSBERGs subsidiaries when it comes to FX risk mitigation.Participate in short-term cash-flow forecasting and periodic reporting.Participate in maintaining the groups cash pools and associated documentation.Contribute to establishing and maintaining a group treasury management system.Establish periodic reports within the various fields of expertise within the Treasury functionEstablish reports and forecasts, perform ad-hoc analysis and establish decision support Qualifications and experience:Bachelor or masters degree within finance, economy, or other related fields.Independent, and self-driven, with a strong commercial mindset and an analytical approach.Team player with strong communication skills, being able to build networks internally and externally.Skilled user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Power Point and PowerBI. You are able to:Act on own initiative, make things happen and accept responsibility for the results.Identify potential risks and monitor the financial impact of own activities.Communicate in a clear, precise, and structured way.Co-operate well with others, share knowledge, experience, information, and support others in the pursuit of team goals. What we can offerYou will become part of a medium size treasure team, enabling the right individual to work across many of the fields of expertise that form a Treasury team, and thus gain a broad set of knowledge within the various fields. You will also work closely with external stakeholders such as banks, and various internal stakeholders. The scope of the role may be adapted to reflect the candidates particular experience and skill set.
