Combining their experience and expertise, they work collaboratively with the aim to continuously improve our vital people and business functions.We are currently expanding our Finance capabilities to meet the needs that our business growth requires. Working in a global team, the Project Controller will be responsible for direct supervision of all day-to-day accounting and financial activities on designated departments. Duties and responsibilities Secure correct booking of cost and revenue to the appropriate accounting period and correct departmentFinancial reporting on designated departments or segments Follow up on invoicing to and payment from clients according to signed agreementsTo prepare annual budgets- and rolling forecasts for designated departmentsFinancial follow up on client contracts and internal projects to make sure all requirements are met, including correct cost and revenue flow between Shearwater legal entities and departmentsPrepare weekly customer receivable schedules for line managers across the CompanyProject budget review, including prepare operational targets pre-project to vessel and financial review after completion of project, both financial and operational, latter with necessary input from Operations. Maintain financial security by following internal controlsPrepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidentialEducation and experienceCollege or University degree in Accounting, Business, or other Finance related subjectGood understanding of budgeting and accounting Knowledge of global organizations and the impact on financial managementGood excel skills Fluent English skills both written and verbally Personal Qualities Analytical and problem-solving skills Structured and attention for detailsTraining and DevelopmentFrom day one you will contribute, applying and adapting your professional and academic experience for business needs, with any knowledge gaps being filled by an individual learning plan.What does Shearwater offer employees?The chance to work in one of the world’s most exciting industries.
