Corporate ControllerThe finance department of Cegals Stavanger office will be strengthened with a newly established position as "Corporate Controller" where the main responsibility will work on compliance in the company's financial reporting within both NGAAP and IFRS. The position will encompass a wide range of job responsibilities where it is required to have the ability to work with details and still be able to understand the bigger picture. The right candidate is keen to stay professionally updated and is constantly looking for improvements in work methods and solutions.Main job duties Ongoing involvement in the company's financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, both by NGAAP and IFRS as Cegal's bond is listed on Oslo Stock Exchange.Extensive involvement in the annual report, including assistance with the preparation of tax returns, accounts and notes, both in accordance with NGAAP and IFRSPreparation and updating of relevant accounting policiesPoint of contact towards the audit teamProject participation in relevant company projects, including implementation of structural changes such as business transfers and mergersContinuous improvement work, digitalization and automationESEF reporting in relation to the annual report Qualifications and experience Higher education (master's/business degree) in accounting/auditing/financeA minimum of three years relevant experience from auditing, finance, or accountingGood knowledge of IFRSRelevant experience with year-end accounts, both according to NGAAP and IFRSGood written and oral presentation skills, both in Norwegian and EnglishHigh degree of independenceGood understanding of relevant IT systems (Visma, PowerBI, Excel) Who are you?
