In this role, you will be a part of Ocean Technologies, delivering world class products to our customers. As our Project Manager you will work with deliveries of sonars and sensors for coastal waters within the segments of anti-submarine warfare, maritime mine counter measurements and harbor surveillance.By joining us, you will belong to a cross functional team with a mix of young and more experienced colleagues. Together we develop and deliver solutions worldwide. This position is key for Kongsbergs world leading products to be integrated on vessels. Working closely with sales, supply chain, purchaser, shipping, suppliers, sub vendors, sister offices, yards as well as being the single point of contact for the customer. To succeed it is important to appreciate day-to-day contact with clients and a desire to always learn more. We are looking for someone who is proactive, self-driven and have a collaborative personality.Key accountabilities Point of contact toward clientsManaging the project to meet or exceed company goalsOrganizing, leading, and motivating the project teamActivity and resource planning, cost estimating and developing the budgetAnalyzing and managing project risk, managing reports and documentationStakeholder management and ensuring customer satisfactionTravel is expected: approx. 10-20 days a yearDesired QualificationsBachelor or masters degree in engineeringExperience and track record as Project Manager or other leading function in successfully multi discipline projectsExperience with Contract Management and EPC contractsNegotiation skills and the ability to develop strongworking relationshipsGood communication skills both written and verbal (Norwegian and English)Knowledge of our product group with acoustic positioning and communication or hydrography system is an advantageThis employment will require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority.
