The atmosphere is international, and our official working language is English.We are now looking for a Procurement Officer to the Legal Department. You will report directly to the General Counsel and your responsibilities cover NIB’s overall procurement process, strategy development and supplier management. The role provides an opportunity to work independently while collaborating closely with NIB’s internal stakeholders, suppliers and the Legal team.You will guide internal stakeholders throughout the procurement process, including requirements definition, tendering, selection and documentation, offering best practices and continuous process support as required. Additionally, you will be responsible for supplier management activities, with a focus on risk and performance management.Qualifications and skillsMaster’s or Bachelor’s degree in economics, procurement or a degree in other relevant fieldSolid experience in demanding and versatile procurement activities, including process and strategy developmentGood negotiation and communication skills, proactiveness, and ability to collaborate efficiently with various internal and external stakeholdersGood analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to handle pressure and meet deadlinesFluency in EnglishExperience in financial management and analysis is considered an assetWe offer youAmbitious, motivated and supportive colleagues, possibility to collaborate with suppliers and with colleagues across NIBMeaningful work in constantly evolving, international environmentA demanding and rewarding role, where you will take the overall responsibility for the procurement process and its continuous developmentThe position is located at NIB’s headquarters in Helsinki, Finland.
