Do you want to join the Global Procurement team that delivers procurement services in one of the largest technological companies in Norway?We are looking for a new colleague to join us as Procurement Category Manager in Global Procurement Norway. You will play a key role in developing and managing Telenor’s Procurement strategies in the area of Markets and Indirect serving stakeholders in the whole organization - especially the three markets divisions in cooperation internationally with procurement in Telenor Group.Could you be the one we’re looking for?Markets and Indirect is a broad and challenging area covering a diverse portfolio of services within Professional services, Financial services, Customer Care, Media and Advertising, Logistics, Facility Management, mobile related services and CPE (customer premises equipment).The Markets and Indirect team are cooperating with the Category team in Telenor Procurement Company, TPC, working together as One team in Telenor’s global organization, Telenor Norway Procurement and TPC are part of Global Procurement within Telenor Group.“Markets & Indirect is responsible for one of Telenor Norway's most exciting procurement portfolios, which is strategically important for Telenor Norway's growth ambitions. In this position, you will become a part of a professionally strong and multicultural work environment that collaborates to achieve these ambitions.” Martin Skuthom – part of the Markets&Indirect Procurement-team.As Procurement Category Manager you are responsible for proactive handling of sub-categories TOGETHER with relevant stakeholders in Telenor Norge and Telenor Procurement Company. Important elements of the position:Understand business priorities of your key stakeholders and how those affect procurement strategies for relevant areaSecure well- functioning processes between stakeholders and global procurement, balancing local customer needs towards global scalePrepare – and execute on procurement strategy and suitable commercial models within different services/categories through close collaboration with your key stakeholdersEnsure implementation of agreements:including contract governance ensuring periodic follow up of supplier during contract periodenable contract in ERP system (Coupa) to ensure realization of savings and other negotiated benefitsSupport the key stakeholders in case of commercial disputes with partnersContinuously seek efficiency opportunities within your area of responsibility, both in procurement process and post-contracting phaseManage the interface towards the Telenor Procurement Company (TPC) in Singapore and secure efficient communication (single point of contact) between stakeholders and Procurement.So, who are you?We believe you will thrive and succeed best with us if you enjoy working in a dynamic, international, and multicultural environment, and find it motivating to drive processes and dare to challenge when needed.
