The purpose of this position is to implement and execute all steps in the approved procurement process, in close collaboration with the Supply Chain team.Contracts Manager Subsea (CMS) shall develop and conclude a well-defined strategy for all contracting in the subsea domain. I.e., Subsea Production System (SPS), Subsea Umbilicals Flowlines andRiser (SURF), including SPS Well Construction and SPS Life of Field Contracts.In addition, the position has a functional role as professionally responsible for contract and coordination of the PE supply chain.To support the VP Subsea in successful delivery of their mandates, the C&P manager shall liaise with stakeholders to secure early identification and planning of required activities.To execute the procurement process in accordance with the governing process.Finalize all contracts in time for the Final Investment decision and First Oil, including price updates, negotiations, clarifications, and completion of contracts documents.After contract award, support Company Representatives in management of contractorssecuring contract obligations; incl progress and supply chain monitoring, timely processing of queries/ deviations, variation orders, pro-active risk management, etc.The Contracts Manager Subsea shall support stakeholder management and activities as relevant.Supporting Project Service Manager to ensure implementation of common corporate practices during contracts completion and execution.Support Project Service Manager and the Supply Chain team in implementation of the procedural procurement processes and ensure coordination of all procurement activities in the project.Supporting the Project Service Manager and the Supply Chain team in implementing cohesive processes for the local content plan in all procurement activitiesExecution of all phases of the procurement process in compliance BMS requirements, localregulations, and industry best practice.Ensure proactive handling of HSSE principles.Follow up of internal governance processes and contracting strategies for the subsea contracts, incorporating market/ capacity considerations, local regulations /local content requirements andtax-regulations.Support VP Subsea and manage tender/re-pricing process and secure active involvement of relevant stakeholders in the project.Monitor and control compliance with contract during project execution including deliverables/payments.Handle variations and claim handling, reporting and warranties.Pro-active management of contract risk and opportunities, incl provisional sumsImplement structures and systems to allow effective contract management, including purchasing in the project.Stakeholder management within the contracting process, including approvals and status reporting.Establish, implement and follow-up the governance process in the project / authority matrix.Contribute to a positive working environment, good cooperation and communication within the project and its stakeholders.Deliver the contracts ready for award.Manage variation orders, claim handling and amendments formally approved according to project governance.Use the procurement tools to allow efficient contract handling and procurement for the project.Ensure proper and aligned reporting internally and externally.Ownership from relevant technical/commercial disciplines for the development and execution ofcontracts (incl engineering, project controls, legal, tax, insurance, supply chain and local content).Interface with ContractorsCollaboration with project functions in GhanaPresent to and expedite decisions as required from Procurement Committee /Project DirectorSupport from Legal Advisor to ensure aligned contractual behavior for all project contracts (specific focus on Local Content, rights under the PA, warranties and liabilities, indemnificationand changes)
