BeskrivelseRestaurant Raus opens in the end of October and is a brand new restaurant with 180 seats, right in the heart of Alta city center. The restaurant is located in the 1tst floor of Canyon Hotel and will be servering breakfast, lunch and dinner 365 days a year. Breakfast is primarily reserved for hotelguests, while lunch and dinner will be served to everyone - locals, business travelers, tourist. Everyone is welcome at Raus! For guests who want a more private dining experience, we have a private room that is perfect for special occasions or business dinners.The concept of the restaurant is informal and family friendly with a semi opened kitchen that will serve quality steaks, burgers and a good selection of different kind of "comfort food". We are mainly looking for chefs who are interested in a full time position, but since running a 365 days open kitchen require a lot of kitchen staff, we are also interested to get in touch with people who are interested in working part-time or as an extra help during busy periods. As a chef at Raus you will; Be responsible for food production, presentation and serving of hot and cold dishes in the restaurant on your shift. Your focus will always be to ensure that our guests have the best food experience every time they visit us.You will have an active role in all areas of the kitchen and be helpful with menu planning and product ordering.Ensure that quality systems and routines within IC - food and HSE are carried out in accordance with the restaurant's guidelines.Actively contribute to ensuring that the kitchen area is in accordance with hygiene regulations.Support in the training of apprentice chefs until they pass their professional test.Actively contribute to a safe and inclusive working environment.To thrive and succeed in the position we would love it if you; Are passionate about cooking and love to deliver good food experiences.Are an educated chef or have a minimum of two years work experience as a chef. Are proactive and want to develop your skills within the culinary profession.Are flexible and don’t mind working at different times of the day - daytime, evening and weekend.Are an reliable team player who will do their best to contribute to a good work environment. Are able to keep calm when its busy in the kitchen and handle stressful situations in a way that does not affect yourself, your colleagues and our guest in a negative way.Have good English language skills and likes to work in a international work environment.
