We are present on four continents and are headquartered in Oslo, Norway. Main purpose of the position We are looking for a Strategy & M&A Advisor in Oslo, Norway, to be part of our global team working together towards our vision - Improving our future. The Strategy & M&A team works in close collaboration with the Executive Management Team to develop and implement Scatec's group wide strategy, which gives direction for our growth path. The team further serves as Scatec’s corporate M&A function and supports the regional teams in transaction processes including larger acquisitions, divestments and platform partnerships. As our Strategy & M&A Advisor you will be supporting and leading strategy projects and can also contribute on all aspects of M&A transactions.   Main responsibilities Project management: lead strategy/corporate projects and processes including scoping, conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses, and making strategic recommendations to the executive management team Strategy development: support/lead in development of new business strategies (market strategies, technology strategies etc.), and contribute to the annual corporate strategy process for the Board of Directors.  Strategy implementation: facilitate strategy discussions with the broader organization to ensure the corporate strategy is translated into roadmaps and priority areas for the business units. M&A: support/lead transaction processes for renewable energy projects and portfolios   Qualifications and competencies Relevant higher education at Bachelor's level (Business, Economics, or similar). Master’s degree is an advantage. At least 3-4 years’ relevant experience, preferably from a consultancy firm, investment bank, corporate strategy function or similar Knowledge and/or previous experience from strategy development and/or M&A transactions in renewable energy is an advantage Fluent in English, both written and spoken Excellent PowerPoint and excel skills For the particular role we also expect: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills (in English) Business-oriented experience from the energy industry is an advantage Self-driven, comfortable with high work pressure and a positive team player Strong stakeholder management skills Personal characteristics It is part of every employees' terms of reference to contribute to Scatec's vision: Improving our Future and adhere to our company values which are: Predictable :demonstrate clear communication and listening skills, shares information in an open and honest way Driving results : demonstrate determination, pro-activeness, can prioritise and work independently Changemaker :demonstrate entrepreneurship, can challenge, fast learner, take initiates and adjust Working together : demonstrate teamwork, shares responsibilities, can compromise, has a can-do attitude  We offer Scatec is an exciting, innovative and ambitious company operating in a growing industry.
