Join the R&D teamWe are highly skilled and comprehensive design team based in Drammen, actively seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer specializing in electrical engineering.Delta Norway is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge rectifiers and inverters for the global market, specifically tailored for 5G networks and hyperscale data centers. The selected electrical engineer will collaborate within an integrated design team, comprising experts in electrical, firmware, mechanical, PCB, and testing disciplines. Our well-equipped laboratory facility facilitates productive partnerships with other proficient design teams across Europe and Asia.Delta Electronics, the world's largest company in power electronics, is unwaveringly committed to research and development (R&D).Key Responsibilities:Formulating topology selections, magnetics design, power circuitry, and protection circuitryCareful selection and testing of critical componentsDeveloping schematic designsPerforming design simulations using SimetrixCalculating losses and assessing efficiencyOverseeing thermal managementCreating PCB drafts and strategically placing key componentsImplementing digital control engineeringEnsuring compliance with customer requirements and safety standardsCrafting designs that adhere to reliability standardsConducting thorough layout reviewsThe Ideal Candidate:Possesses a robust M.Sc. in electrical engineering, particularly in the field of power electronicsDemonstrates extensive experience in grid-connected convertersExhibits proficiency in digital control systemsEnjoys hands-on work in both practical laboratory settings and simulationsThis position is also open to recent graduates.We Offer:A robust and collaborative teamOpportunities for professional developmentCompetitive compensation and benefitsIntegration into a truly global company
