The demand for our Human factor and Emergency preparedness services is increasing and we are therefore seeking to hire an enthusiastic and motivated consultant with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. We are looking for a consultant that should not only be able to help us deliver the services that we deliver today but should also want to be key in developing our services to new and emerging markets. The Safety Risk Management consultants er mainly located in Høvik and Trondheim and any of these offices could therefore be your workplace as we work highly integrated regardless of your office location. Our team has traditionally helped customers both in Norway and abroad to develop and operate safe solutions for oil and gas production, but we are currently in an energy transition phase where we are growing our expertise to newer and emerging areas such as hydrogen- and CO2 safety, offshore wind, and offshore fish-farming. And we want you to be part of expanding our expertise, competence, and experience.Working with DNV will give you a unique opportunity to become part of a large and highly competent professional network (both nationally and internationally) within safety risk management and within a wide range of technical disciplines. Tasks and responsibilities:As we are seeking someone that can deliver the emergency preparedness and/or human factor services that we deliver today and develop these services further to new and emerging markets, work tasks can vary according to your background and competence. However, below are listed some of the services that we ideally would want you to contribute within:Emergency Preparedness Analyses (EPA)Emergency preparedness advisoryHuman Factors Engineering (HFE)Human Reliability Assessment (HRA)Safety Culture AssessmentPlanning and facilitating workshops within safety risk in general and the abovementioned services in particularProject managementDevelopment of commercial tenders to customersAs our team covers a wide range of safety studies and work closely together in projects to solve complex challenges spanning several areas of expertise, some knowledge and experience within one or more of the following topics would be an advantage:Risk assessmentsBarrier managementWorking environment studiesCompliance with safety regulations and standards HSE coordinationDigital skills, and an interest in applying these to enhance value and efficiency of services.Position QualificationsQualification required for the position:Higher technical education (master’s degree or equivalent) in relevant discipline (Org.
