BeskrivelseJob Description:Based out of our Tromsø Basecamp, the Operations Manager is responsible for the entire Adventure Team in Tromsø.This unique and challenging position requires a driven enthusiastic leader with management skills and an eye for detail in processes and routines. The Operations Manager oversees the majority of the operations at our Tromsø basecamp and works continuously to keep team members engaged and motivated and aims to improve the working environment for all team members.The Operations Manager is responsible for scheduling and coordinating locally, implementation of routines, and overseeing logistics. They will work closely with the Land Team & Maritime Manager as well as the rest of the Management Team, but will also have a direct and often daily interaction with our Sales Team.Our ideal candidate has a passion for the outdoor and adventure travel industry. They are a people person inside and out, and genuinely want to share the beauty of Northern Norway with others. Importantly, they are a self-starter who takes ownership and accountability for their work, motivated by the ability to make an immediate impact and develop in this high-growth organization.Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:People Management - Be a team leader that brings enthusiasm and professionalism to the workplace while protecting and furthering the culture of the companyOperations Oversight -- Evaluate resource allocation and manage schedules for the adventure team. Oversee logistics, manage inventory and the geographical movement of assets. Oversee the periodical controls of compliance and maintain a calendar for updates and historic logsOperations Improvement -- Building, implementing, and improving operational processes together with the process teams and share with the rest of the organizationHandling minor HR related questions from team members and send through to the right person in case necessaryEssential Requirements:Customer Focus - Builds strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutionsInterpersonal Savvy -- Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of peopleInstills Trust - Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticityDrives Engagement/Enthusiasm - Creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectivesCultivates Innovation - Creating new and better ways for the organization to be successfulMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or similar (MBA preferred)Or 1+ years' management experience in the outdoor travel or hospitality industryProficiency in CRM, reporting, and payment softwareFluent in oral and written EnglishPreferred Experience and Qualifications:Knowledge of the travel and outdoor adventure or hospitality sales industryExperience with Hospitality Management or Booking software (i.e., Rezdy)In-depth local knowledge and genuine interest for Pukka's operating locationsFluent in oral and written Norwegian
