Local Unit & Position DescriptionDNV Iceland is looking for a Surveyor who can join our team of experienced employees.We are the leading Classification Society in Iceland within the Maritime Industry, including the Fishing- and Fish Farming Industry.We are mainly involved in Classification work on Fishing Vessels and Cargo Vessels trading around Iceland, both local and global ships.Position QualificationsWhat we are looking for:Have a degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Ship Officer, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.2-4 years of relevant work experience would be an advantagePassion for working closely with customers, self-driven and solution-oriented. Open to change, proactive, and with a service-minded attitude Ability to work individually as well as in a team. Committed to safety, environment and qualityGood communication skills in Icelandic and English.
