Local Unit & Position DescriptionDNV Iceland is looking for a Surveyor who can join our team of experienced employees.We are the leading Classification Society in Iceland within the Maritime Industry, including the Fishing- and Fish Farming Industry.We are mainly involved in Classification work on Fishing Vessels and Cargo Vessels trading around Iceland, both local and global ships.Position QualificationsWhat we are looking for:Have a degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Ship Officer, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.2-4 years of relevant work experience would be an advantagePassion for working closely with customers, self-driven and solution-oriented. Open to change, proactive, and with a service-minded attitude Ability to work individually as well as in a team. Committed to safety, environment and qualityGood communication skills in Icelandic and English. What do we offer: To become part of a recognized international company and talented colleagues.Pleasant work environment, with various type of customers.Opportunities for own development.A competitive compensation and benefits package.A meaningful job with one of Europe’s most attractive employer. Company & Business Area DescriptionDNV is the independent expert in risk management and assurance, with almost 12,000 employees operating in more than 100 countries.
