We are expanding, and we are looking for a Naval Architect, Marine Engineer, or Structural Engineer with master’s degree to join our team.Job description:Fjeld Consultant assist the major players in both the oil and energy sector and the largest shipping companies with their logistical challenges moving oversized cargos. We seeking practical solutions backed by detailed analysis work.We can offer wide variety of work opportunities ranging from complex mooring and seakeeping analysis work, planning of shipments to site moves by SPMT’s (Self-propelled modular transporter).In Fjeld Consultant you will be given your own projects early on backed by the rest of the team at Fjeld Consultant allowing you to follow up projects all the way from planning to execution early on.Planning and engineering of heavy-lift non-standardized cargo transports and marine operations.On-site engineering and lead of load-out and load-in operations.Third party verifications / Marine warranty survey.2D and 3D drawing and modelling (Autocad, Inventor).Motion & accelerations response analyses (Orcaflex).Stability and ballasting analyses (Shipshape).Grillage and sea fastening design.Lifting arrangement verifications.Mooring analyses.Towing analyses.Deck strength analyses (Inventor Nastran).SPMT stability.  Qualifications:MSc or BSc degree within engineering with strong academic achievements.Former work experience is not a requirement.
