It is all about belonging.The Revenue Accountant will be responsible for ensuring that Norse recognizes its revenue in compliance with IFRS-15 and other applicable industry norms. The Revenue Accountant will also ensure proper integration of Norse’s revenue system with our ERP system for a seamless transfer of revenue, taxes and fee data from the reservation systems to the ERP system.Experienced in aviation revenue accounting, and may be open for new challenges? Then we would love to see your application for this position.Responsibilities and Duties  Ensure the Revenue accounting module of the reservation system is always up-to-date with Norse’s chart of accounts and associated dimensions.Take ownership of Skyledger revenue system and monitoring and reconciling collection of cash from the sales.Ensure all revenue related taxes, fees and charges are updated in all applicable systems in a timely mannerSet up and closely monitor the integration between the Revenue and ERP systems to ensure that every single transaction is correctly captured in all systemsTo ensure that the revenue recognized by Norse is in accordance with IFRS-15 rules and in compliance with industry norms/standards as applicableDaily monitoring and reconciliation of company’s accounts with different payment service providers to ensure correct amounts are collectedRequired qualifications to be successful in this roleUniversity degree in Accounting/FinancePrevious experience in Airline/Aviation Revenue AccountingStrong analytical skillsExperience with high-volume accounting data reconciliations between systems We offerThe possibility of being part of a great team, working together to build one of the most exciting new airlinesAn informal and positive work environmentCompetitive benefits.                                                     We believe that culture will be our competitive advantage.Team Norse has identified three core values that we all should live and breathe.They are:  Be inclusiveTake ownership Show kindness.If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to send an email to: georg.torjusen@flynorse.com , or call +47 970 05 909Please note: you have 2 days from submission to edit your cover letter before it can no longer be changed.
