Vice President Learning and DevelopmentWill you drive the learning agenda that helps Telenor to deliver on its business strategy? Then this might be your next challenge!Telenor is now seeking a new Vice President Learning & Development (L&D) who will be responsible for shaping and implementing the strategic and operational learning portfolio across Telenor. The strategy should encompass various learning methods and delivery channels that address the diverse learning needs of the workforce.  Our digital learning platforms and the use of new technology are key, and the VP L&D will ensure optimal user engagement and alignment with strategic objectives. As VP L&D you will ensure that the workforce, our people, is equipped with the knowledge, skills and competence that are critical to Telenor’s strategic ambitions and to drive the company's purpose and strategy forward. You will develop, design and implement groupwide training initiatives, catering to leadership enhancement and individual growth, in line with Telenor’s vision. And, on occasion, you will facilitate strategic workshops tailored for senior leadership. As our new VP L&D you will report to the SVP CHRO Nordics and be part of her HR management team. With a basis in the Nordics, you will manage an international team consisting of dedicated and skilled professionals. Together with your team, you will foster collaboration between a diverse set of business leaders, sponsors, and experts, both internal and external to Telenor. Your team will support transformation through adapting our culture and way of work. Desired Skills and Experience Our ideal candidate for the position as Vice President Learning and Development at Telenor, should: demonstrate solid leadership skills and have experience from a complex organization.have international experience, understanding intercultural nuances and excel in collaboration across multiple teams, regions and countries.have in-depth knowledge of L&D with a passion for nurturing and developing our people. possess solid business insight and knowledge of technology trends.foster psychological safety and trust within teams and be skilled at guiding diverse international teams. hold a master’s degree, preferably in a related field like Human Resource or Organizational Development. act as a trusted advisor and build relations with senior management and demonstrate strong stakeholder and collaboration skills.be able to use English as a working language.
