Senior Full stack Developer - Direct Carrier Billing We’re expanding our footprint - are you an experienced full stack developer who is also passionate about user experience? We partner with global digital players such as Google, Meta and Netflix, and Mobile Network Operators worldwide, to provide the best possible user experience. We secure connectivity for over 200 million subscribers, enabling them to stay connected independent of where they are. Telenor Linx is the result of merging the two global units Telenor Digital AS and Telenor Global Services AS and is fully owned by Telenor Group. The company has an estimated yearly revenue of approx. 2 BNOK and engages 200 people across the world with offices in Norway (HQ), Sweden, Poland, Dubai, Pakistan, Thailand, Singapore. We are now searching for new talents to take part in building Telenor Linx and develop global services benefitting mobile subscribers worldwide.We offer a broad set of products and services as core telco services such as international voice, messaging, data roaming for Telenor, including software development of cloud-native solutions connecting mobile operators and digital service providers, globally.Who are you? We are looking for a full stack developer that possesses a wide range of skills and has a strong background or interest in front-end and back-end development. You need to be proficient in at least one of the popular programming languages used on the front-end and back-end, willing to write code and learn new technologies.Most of the engineers in the team have an M.Sc or Phd in Computer Science, or similar relevant experience. Our working language is English; therefore, a fluent English level is required.We use the latest Java version on the back-end, TypeScript on the front-end and Terraform for our cloud infrastructure. We run our service in AWS and we use GitHub Actions for continuous integration and deployment. Our engineers usually participate in second-line engineering on-call activities.What we work withOur primary focus is to make our services secure and user friendly, while maintaining a high quality of code. On the back-end, we are working on integrating new operators, and continue working on developing our APIs to detect fraud early and to prevent incorrect charging. We are also developing our APIs to manage subscriptions in a secure way. On the front-end, we provide a portal to our direct customers (operators and partners) for user support and financial reporting. We also have an end-user facing payment consent page with fraud prevention mechanisms built into it.About the teamYou´ll work with a high performing team of developers, onboarding engineers and business folks that work together to create an enjoyable user experience and deliver a product that is bringing revenues to Telenor. 4 million users worldwide actively make payments through us every month and our revenues continue to grow! How we workWe take pride in our services.
