Our high-performing teams are drawn to BW by the global nature of our work and the satisfaction of working with collaborative people who inspire each other to deliver exceptional results.JOIN US FOR THE FUTUREWe are currently seeking:HSEQ & Risk SuperintendentEnsure a continued process of improvement in the standards of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality for the BW LPG Fleet vessels and ashore.Act as the company's leading resource on safety related regulations (SOLAS, LSA Code, FSA Code etc).Responsibilities:Perform internal system audits ashore and onboard as nominated. Assists in the revision and development of procedures and processes, compliant with new and existing regulatory, voluntary or expected customer standards for inclusion in the Company's documented SMS.Document owner for Permits to work and risk assessment procedures/processes with support from Marine and Technical Superintendents.Support manning department with interviews of new senior officers and provide SMS induction of new senior officers/office staff as needed.Log keeper in BW LPG Incident Management Team.Distribute Improvement reports for the Fleet after initial quality control and assist report owners with close out process. Keep track of external ISM/ISPS/ISO14001/MLC/Flag State audits for the fleet vessels and send notification to responsible Technical Superintendent.Responsible for Corrective Action Plan to class/flag for external ISM/ISPS/ISO9001/ISO14001 and closing related non-conformities in cooperation with the Fleet team.Responsible for processing and close out internal TQM audit findings and Near Miss Reports for assigned fleet.Be part of the incident investigations and root cause analysis for assigned fleet.Provide input from LPG Fleet for the Monthly Marine Summary, Incident Committee Log and Monthly HILO report.BBS Reporting from LPG Fleet & processing report monthly.Support implementation of the management of change process for BW LPG Fleet.Process Common Safety/Safety Committee Meetings.Assist line Manager in TMSA processes.In coordination with the line manager, advise the Maintenance/Quality Management System team on statutory/regulatory updates concerning Safety processes including Life Saving and Fire Fighting appliances and support updating procedures.Develop/contribute to safety initiatives that would support BW LPG’s Zero Harm program. Qualifications:A bachelor’s degree or equivalent Nautical certification.Be familiar with applicable industry rules, regulations, and industry requirements.An understanding of the Class audits, TMSA, SIRE and CDI processes.Excellent command of English language - verbal and written.Hold a permanent residence permit for work purposes in Norway.Personal qualities:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with cultural awareness.Have a holistic perspective, without losing attention to details.A self-starting, pro-active individual.Good analytical skills.We offer:Competitive terms of employment in a truly global company.Attractive pension scheme.International and highly competent working environment.A challenging ,but rewarding position and excellent opportunities for individual development.
