CHC Helicopter Service has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to come join our team at Sola. Our customer base is spread all over Norway from our Search & Rescue service for the Governor at Svalbard, to our shuttle aircraft at Valhall field in the Southern North Sea, and we have both government and Oil & Gas contracts. New areas of operation like wind- and fish farms is also becoming new market opportunities.We have some exiting years in front of us with several interesting tenders coming up. Your main responsibility will be to help us win them.To achieve the target, it’s within the Sales Managers responsibility to administer, support and co-ordinate the procurement process for customers to incl. bids, tenders, RFP’s, RFI’s and prequalification documentation. You will also work with internal and external stakeholders in the completion of the above mentioned processes, negotiations, close new contracts and improve customer portfolio.We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a dynamic work-environment, and can contribute in developing commercial strategies to enhance CHC’s market share in the Norwegian Helicopter Services Market, including growth and development of our ad hoc business.Candidates with 2 – 3 years relevant experience in sales or commercial roles will be preferred, but we also encourage newly graduates to apply.The Sales Manager reports to the Regional Commercial Director.What we offer:A challenging career opportunity in an exciting area of aviationCompetitive compensation package, incl. good pension and insurance schemeCompetent and motivated colleaguesKey responsibilities:Drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market expansion initiatives, aligned with the overall business objectivesIdentify and pursue new commercial opportunities and develop new customersBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customersManage customer interactions and satisfaction;Work closely with the commercial team in order to manage the tender/proposal process from the initial request to the final submission;Respond to Customers’ requests in compliance with corporate guidelines and within customer’s required timelines;Proactively interface with various departments and subject matter experts such as Legal, Risk Management, Tax, Finance, Operations, and Technical Services during proposals and tender processes.Support Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in the preparation of costing models to meet revenue guidelines as mandated by the corporate business plan;Provide support and head office guidance for the Regional Directors in their provision of customer service, revenue growth, customer negotiations and product/service development;Conduct feasibility analyses (risk, sensitivity and cost/revenue), SWOT Analyses and to create factsheets on all new business opportunities;Conduct negotiations with customers at varying levels for items such as pricing, services offered and contractual terms and conditions;Develop and execute departmental processes and management systems to ensure alignment with corporate policies and procedures.Any other relevant task within areas of responsibilityQualification, skills and attributes:Higher education in relevant field i.e. Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Business Development or similarPreferably minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant experience within sales or commercial. Preferably from the aviation or oil & gas field services industry.Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, both verbal and writtenDemonstrated relationships builder with excellent interpersonal and management skillsExcellent problem-solving skills, decision-making skills and negotiation skillsService-minded and with excellent collaboration skillsTakes initiative, practice ownership and transparencyAbility to prioritise a heavy workload in a dynamic work-environment
