Visma InSchool is a nationwide administrative system designed for Norwegian upper secondary schools. It is completely cloud-based, and covers functionality for both students, parents, teachers and administrative staff. The current UX team has members of multiple nationalities and is located in Dublin and Osl. We are now expanding and looking for a new UX designer based in Visma Skøyen office! Who are we looking for?We are looking for a UX Designer who will work with our product owners and development team in shaping the future of School Management. You have at least two years experienc in UX design and enjoy turning complex problems into simple solutions. You also like seeing results, and to championing the user's experience! What you will do:Research to obtain a clear understanding of the user's needsWork directly with the product team and the development team to create workflows, user journeys and prototypesConduct usability testing to validate designsWork with rapid prototyping and quick iterations in order to solve design problemsContribute to the design and maintenance of a Design System libraryContribute to the development of good UX patterns and guidelines We believe you will need these skills:Strong background knowledge in user-centred designFamiliar with user research methodologies and usability testingHigh proficiency creating prototypes, design specifications and Accessible designsExperience working with component libraries and design systems, and the design tool Figma or similar toolsSpeaks Norwegian and communicates well in English also A challenging and varied workday in Vismas largest companyA high degree of independence in your workWonderful colleaguesFlexible working hours and competitive conditions, such as pension and insurances Visma has a large and growing professional environment within UX, graphic design and service design that gives you the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with other designers.
