Remora is an exciting company with incredible technology already proven to catapult the fish farming industry into the digital age. We have put the desire to make fish welfare better at the core of what we want to achieve. Thus, we have developed an autonomous cleaning robot for the aquaculture industry which delivers amazing results on several parameters: Increasing fish welfare, reducing biofouling, simplifying operations as well and collecting critical real-time data from the breeding facility directly to the farmers. This solution brings the fish farming industry forward in a quantum leap by automizing and digitalizing what used to be strictly manual and time-consuming tasks. It is truly an adventure come to life and we are scaling up at a great pace. The robot has been developed closely with farmers since 2017 and is now operating live in several fish farming locations.Worth mentioning is that Remora also have close and fruitful collaborations with leading research groups in Norway: SINTEF, the Norwegian Research Council, NTNU and NORCE, among others.
