BeskrivelseJob DescriptionThe Tesla Driver & Private Guide is a passionate adventure and nature enthusiast that never seems to get enough of the stunning beauty of the Arctic. With a positive attitude, the Tesla Driver & Private Guide brings the spirit of enthusiasm and safety for the land elements to our guests as well as the other team members. This includes thoughtful as well as enthusiastic experiences for our guests both during daytime and night time.Daily work includes snowshoe hiking & Northern Lights tours during the winter and hiking & sightseeing tours during the summer. All this while transporting yourself and the guests in a Tesla. People love having pictures to take home from their tours in our magnificent nature. That's why photography and post editing skills are an important factor of your work.Other aspects of the work also include custom requests, basic gear maintenance, taking responsibility for keeping (y)our vehicles squeaky clean, writing reports, and keeping track of inventory. As a guide you are involved in establishing and improving the routines and logistics related to tours and their routes.The Tesla Driver & Private Guide will be part of the Adventure Team which consists of Guides, Skippers, and other Adventure Enthusiasts. You may also participate in teaching the rest of the team members to be more active hikers or northern lights chasers, so we can all share in the joy and participation in nature's beauty.You care for how you show up at the workplace, you can easily absorb responsibility and are able to instill a sense of safety and professionalism around how we operate our land tour activities.!++Important: Due to regulation changes in Norway you need to either already have a valid kjøreseddel (obtained before November 2020) or be willing to take the taxi exam in Norwegian to obtain your taxi licence.++Job Responsibilities++Enthusiastic Tour Guidance++ - Guide Private Tours, capturing groups attention with interesting facts and stories, describe tour points of interest to group members, and respond to questions. Embodies Pukka's philosophy of Hostmanship.++Planning for Customers Needs++ - Research various topics, including site history, environmental conditions, and clients' skills and abilities to plan appropriate expeditions, instruction, and commentary.++Tour Safety Consciousness++ - Keen on putting safety first. Monitor visitors' activities to ensure compliance with tour regulations and safety practices++Accountability and Transportation Safety++- Performs work in a safe manner at all times. Avoids shortcuts that increase health and safety risks to self or others. Maintains emergency supplies and/or personal protective gear.
